To all 50 state Governors and health media:

Dear Sir or Madam:

Enclosed please find an open letter to the Congress of the United States of America showing the need for more magnesium in our diets. Also, please find two books, support information and a DVD. Please use these resources to review and study what may be the most pressing health issue in the United States.

We have been refining grains like wheat to remove nutrients since about 1900. I encourage you to look into why we still refine wheat to make "depleted flour". I don't know the answer to that question, but refined wheat certainly has become part of our National heritage.

I welcome your study of this material. Look at the first article in the attached list of articles and references. Note what magnesium researchers call "symptom of magnesium deficiency". Watch just the first ten minutes of the DVD to learn that magnesium is vanishing from our food, and it is critical for our cardiac health.

Ask most physicians about low magnesium to receive blank stares. It may not be their fault, simply because magnesium is an intracellular mineral and it does no good to test for magnesium in blood serum, because 99% of it is inside cells and not in serum like most other minerals. One might liken the validity of blood serum tests for magnesium with checking the carburetor fuel bowl of a car for an adequate supply of gasoline. It won't be valid. Concerning testing, the only commercial tests that accurately reflect cardiac magnesium is the EXATest by IntraCellular Diagnostics, Inc. See their webpage at http://exatest.com.

Best wishes,

George A. Eby
